The Challenge

This patient presented with obvious damage to her anterior teeth caused by injury and compounded by poor function. The damage and wear created a reverse smile curve that detracted from her beautiful face and personality.

Our Solution

As always, we took a disciplined, meticulously-planned approach. Based on the patient consult and detailed facial and dental photography, we fabricated proper casts, followed by a 3-D diagnostic wax-up. We determined that adhesive restoration would be the least invasive option and provide the best result. After a successful trial for optimal form and function, we created the final restorations.

The Results

We restored the natural shape of the patient’s smile, correcting the prominent reverse smile curve and reestablishing aesthetic balance. Her teeth now flow with her lips, compliment her facial symmetry, and enhance her beauty.
